Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy explains how personal data submitted through elitehangzhou.com is processed. We keep it short and factual, in the spirit of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and of China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Hangzhou Elight Optoelectric Co., Ltd. (杭州亿涞光电股份有限公司), operating as eLite Hangzhou, with registered office at No. 88 Shangde Street, Gaohong Town, Lin'an District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Contact for any privacy matter: [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Contact enquiry form (optional to use): your name, work email address, company name and the content of your message. Fields marked as required must be filled in for the enquiry to be sent; everything else is voluntary.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it does not set tracking cookies, does not collect personal identifiers and does not build user profiles. No Google Analytics or advertising trackers are used on this website.
3. Why we process it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and manage the resulting business relationship (legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in handling business contacts);
- To keep internal records of supplier and customer communications as required for ordinary business documentation.
We do not use your data for marketing newsletters, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
4. Who processes it and where
Data submitted through the form is transmitted to us by email and is handled by the eLite Hangzhou team in Hangzhou, China. Technical processing involves:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery and email transmission infrastructure;
- Microsoft Corporation — mailbox services (Outlook) where enquiries are received.
Because our team is based in China, your data may be transferred to and processed in China and in other countries where the above providers operate. Where the GDPR applies, such transfers rest on appropriate safeguards, and we handle your data with the same protections described in this policy regardless of where it is processed.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and the eventual business relationship, and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a contract requires longer retention or you ask us to delete it sooner.
6. Your rights
You may at any time ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] — we reply within one working week. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority; if you are in China, you may refer to the competent authorities under PIPL.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
